Chris spent four years studying Exercise Science at Eastern Connecticut State University earning himself a B.S. in Sports Management with a Health and Fitness concentration. During his senior year, he began an internship at Velocity Sports Performance in Trumbull, CT where he would later begin his career. Throughout this time he attained the most respected certification in the field, a CSCS(Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist) through the NSCA(National Strength & Conditioning Association).
During his stay at Velocity, Chris gained valuable experience working with hundreds of athletes from young teenage amateurs to experienced semi-professionals. After just one year, he also became the head of Velocity's Adult Program which consisted of semi-private personal training for non-athletes wanting to meet specific fitness and health-related goals. In 2007 Chris left Velocity to pursue a position at Equinox in Darien, CT. He quickly developed a reputation as one of the best personal trainers at Equinox, known for his ability to individualize fitness programs for a wide array of clientele while providing the nutritional guidance needed to meet each client's goals. After several years in the field, Chris became widely recognized as one of the best personal trainers in Darien and found himself with multiple opportunities and offers to pursue.
In 2010 Chris founded 203 Fitness LLC with the goal of improving the quality of service, professionalism, and competency once receives from personal training. He strived to bring forth a new level of professionalism and competency into an industry that he saw as majorly flawed. Since the inception of 203 Fitness, Chris has continued to expand his knowledge base through continued education and a plethera of real life experience with a very diverse clientele. After spending 25+ years living the lifestyle, and sharing his knowledge professionally for 17+ years, he's convinced that there is no challenge too large to take on!
